Acute infract noted in the high right frontal parietal region involving the right Corona radiata and subcortical U fiber's. Age related cerebral atrophy with subcortical and periventricular white matter ischaemic change.

It is a brain stroke. It is due to  blockage of blood supply to some area of the brain causing a block in functioning of that part. The blockage could be due to several reasons. To prevent such blockage from happening again, the reason for the blockage needs to be found and treated. A thorough evaluation under supervision of a Neuro Specialist find out the reason - eg. High lipids, clot in the heart, clot in the neck etc. Physiotherapy and exercises will help in recovery. Due to her age, it may take a longer time and may not recover completely.
