Type 2 diabetic pregnancy

She has type 2 diabetes for last 2 years. Doctor started Metformin 2gm a day half an hour before meal. Now is pregnant for 7 weeks. Latest report shows her diabetes level is 9.2 (HbA1c). Gynae suggested for endocrinologist. Pls suggest what to do. Thanks

Hello. Well her sugar levels are definitely uncontrolled..she needs to have better control..yes you need to meet an endocrinologist so that we can change your medicines  for better control..secondly you need diet modification too...thank you
