Is type 2 diabetes reversible? If yes, to what extent? When we talk about lifestyle changes to curb type 2 diabetes, what all it includes? I know weight reduction and cutting down on sugar intake helps.

Type 2 diabetes can be reversible or its further progression can be prevented with healthy eating patterns, that is small frequent eating and regular exercise everyday of 30 min and trying to loose at least 5-7% of your body weight. It is seen with diet and exercise that prevention to diabetes can be reduced to upto 58%. Thank you!
