Tympanomastoidectomy with ossiculoplasty
Hi I had tympanomastoidectomy with ossiculoplasty 10 days back.my gel foam is still in my ear.But I am listening loud ringing sound and the hearing is also less.Is it because of the surgery side effect? Can I do train journey at this moment for 6 hrs?my right ear operated is numb in the upper part and that side scalp also numb for sometime.
During few weeks after tympanomastoid surgery it is normal to have decreased hearing and ringing sensation which eventually may settle down. You can definitely travel without any problems. You should protect your ear from entry of water
