Transient Intussusception timeline

My 6 month old has been diagnosed with this . It has been 5 days . It's thankfully not progressing . She is on antibiotics and probiotics . Questions (that were not answered by her doc ) : Does this always happen due to infarction leading to intestine inflammation? Could presence of pets in the house be a contributing factor ? How long does the sliding in and out of intestines take to correct post the infection goes down / when can I expect the jelly poop to stop ? Thanks for your patience and answers in advance .
