Hi, I've had a fingernail sized bald spot on my scalp near my path for about a year now which my doctor says is traction alopecia, but this doesn't make sense since I don't wear tight hairstyles, it isn't painful and has a small bump but not very large and is pinker than the rest of my scalp

Can you please upload or send pictures for better diagnosis. Are you applying anything for treating that bald patch. For last how many years that bald patch is their. Is it increasing or as same. Is it on front side
