My father suffered with brain stem stroke on 12th April. Currently able to swallow 30-40teaspoons in a day of water, liquid etc. He tries to speak but jaw movement is not swift. When Tracheostomy could be removed? Currently on Omnicortil tablet for 21days. Anything else could be done for faster TRACHEOSTOMY TUBE removal?

For decannulation of tracheostomy tube he need to evaluate airway above the tube including X-ray neck soft tissue lateral view He need assessment for good cough reflux And we should rule out any aspiration After ensuring all we can remove tube
