hello there. are you talking about the tics which are associated with tourette syndrome? if yes, then there are a lot of pathology suggested for this problem, genetic factor is not the only one. and genetic also the gene hasn't been found out. it's very rare. don't worry. if you are talking about something else, please post the question with details. regards
