How many days does a person have to stay in hospital after tonsillectomy? How many days does he/she is admitted

Depends o the type of surgery. I have abandoned the conventional dissection method of surgery as it is fraught with complications which can even be fatal! I do LASER assisted Tonsillar Ablation or Coblation Assisted Tonsillotomy both of which actually requires 6 hours stay in hospital followed by 3 days absolute bed rest at home.
