Continuous exposure beyond 80dB noise will cause ear pain in children. Many theatres have more noise, which may discomfort your child. So, Better to avoid theatre environment until 2-3 years of age. If your child comfortable with home TV noise in medium range then you can allow your child in theatre

The accepted maximum decibel level is 120dB Regularly being exposed to more than 85dB itself is at risk for hearing loss Anything above, children should not be exposed to. I am unaware of the exact level in theatres but it must be much higher. Children also should not be exposed to the screen ideally till 2 years of age. Please book an appointment to discuss further.
