Tinnitus on left ear

Hi, I am suffering from sensori neural hearing loss on left ear. I went through oxygen therapy, taken steroid injections in ear, and had steroid medicine. But still no relief. During my hearing checkups, I come to know that I am suffering from hypothyroid. I want to know, does thyroid problem related to hearing loss ?
