Speech problem in throat consulted with Padam shree Dr JM Hans and the Dr has suggested for thyroplasty type 1. Have a little doubt that the which will be the better TVFMI or Silastic implantation. Approx expenditure in both implantation

Thyroplasty type 1 and injection thyroplasty are usually done for unilateral vocal cord weakness or vocal cord paralysis which is not responding to voice therapy. Both the procedures have their indications and can't be alternatives to each other. Cost of surgery varies from hospital and doctor. It may cost anywhere between 50k to 1lakh
