Thyroid - overweight, tiredness

My mother has been taking thyroxine 100mg for 15 years. Nowadays she feels depressed, tired all day. She is overweight also. She consulted another homoeopathic doctor and he recommended to take 75 mg tab. Today when she again went to the doctor he prescribed her to stop these medication. I am really tensed and want to treat her from the beginning.
