TSH level becomes low. Generally person with hypothyroidism, metabolic rate is slow, for that, one should follow small quantity meal, but the gaping shouldn't be so much. You can have 4 hours gaping between meals and that helps to reduce weight. You should follow well balanced weight reduction diet. Include complex carbohydrates, fresh fruits, leafy vegetables, sprouts. Drink atleast 3 litre water per day.
