Dear Dr., one of my relative baby girl Age 8 months suffering from Major Thalassemia, what is the best treatment for her without any surgery.

Hello there. I can understand your concern. The treatment available won't change specially for someone. The only curative treatment is marrow transplant. Till you don't find a marrow, transfusions and desferroxamine is the only option. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain Bangalore.
