HI DOCTOR ! SAY 3 MONTHS BACK I HAD GALL STONE ATTACT., IN THIS CONTEXT PLS. CAN YOU ADVISE ON HE BELOW (1). IS THERE ANY BLOOD TESTS/ SCANS ( MRI/CT/.. etc) TO KNOW THE TYPE OF GALL STONE ( PIGMENT STONE/ CHOLESTROL Stone) PRESENT IN HE GALL BLADDER (2). IS THERE ANY WAY TO CHECK THE GALL BLADDER FUNCTIONS( LIKE IT IS FUNCTIONING TO THE FULL EXTENT/ PARTIALS LIKE 25%, 50%, 75%), SAY USING ANY ABDOMAN / CT/ MRI tests. Pls. advise

No sir , there is no test to access type of stone, function of gall bladder. A symptomatic gall bladder stone needs removal of whole part. Laparoscopic surgery us the gold standard recommended for that. If you don't have any problem, then you can keep it for life long
