My mom is of 50 years & she is been taking Temsan H and thyronorm 50mg for BP & Thyroid from last 10years. When ever she got tests done her thyroid was normal and BP was normal too. She wants to know if it's required for her to continue to take these two medicines for ever or can she stop now. Please suggest. Thank you!!

Medicines have to be continued but the dose can be tapered after checking the TSH levels and bp readings.. monitor bp once in a week and check tsh levels 3 months once

It's not advisable to stop medication for BP and thyroid all of a sudden. They need to be titrated. Take online consultation for further management.

Yes the normal bp and normal thyroid is because of treatment she is taking... Whenever you stop those medications BP and TSH both will shoot up..
