My son is 6 month old . He is suffer from teething trouble like irritation and itching .he tries to bite everything.

Dry grapes /; fig/ dates wash thoroughly and wrap in a clean strong cotton cloth.... and hand it to his neck to reach his hand and mouth... instead of biting other stuffs let him bite these... teeth erupt easily and this soothes too
