Swollen hand finger joints

My mother 66 yr old,diabetic( not well controlled) ,bp person often has swollen finger joints in index and middle finger of right hand,pls advise the reason for the same and treatment. It often decreases and increases in size, no pain as such.

Send a pic of both hands so that the swelling can be compared. Sometimes in Medial N Compression patient feels the swelling but actually it isn’t.

Is there history of morning stiffness of joint? If yes she might have rheumatoid arthritis which can be diagnosed with blood tests and x-rays and according to that need plan of management
