My father is a diabetic patient, on insulin thrice a day. His cholesterol levels are also borderline . For the last one week his feet have swollen up terribly . What is this symptom reflecting ? We have done a full health check up and awaiting results . His entire body seems swollen up . Which specialists advice should we seek?

Mostly commonly swelling over body in long term diabetics is due to kidney problems (raised creatinine) and you might need to consult a Nephrologist for the same.
