For the past three days my ear has been hurting but I thought it would go away, but I woke up this morning to my right ear swollen, it hurts and stuff draining from it.

Hello there. I can understand your concern. It clearly seems to be a abscess. It would need to be drained. Do not take it lightly. Get it checked out by a ENT specialist in person for further evaluation and management. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain. Bangalore.
