This is a benign tumour arising from the nerve sheath of the 10th Cranial Nerve, the Vagus Nerve. The tumour is located in a very tricky region of the neck known as the carotid sheath which is in close proximity to the Carotid and Jugular vessels. This needs to be operated upon by a good Head & Neck Surgeon. You are most welcome to drop in to me clinic for a thorough examination to plan the surgery.
