Has she seen a Physician to make sure she has no high BP or any other medical condition. Have they looked at the functioning of her Kidneys and
liver? Has she been tested for Rheumatoid Arthritis?
If all of these have been done and found to have issues, then consulting a Rheumatologist will be useful.
The other thing you mention about weakness can again be due to multiple reasons ranging from lack of protein in diet to other conditions like Fibromyalgia. She may need to be investigated for all of that. Then an MRI scan of the spine can he done to see if there is any issues with spine.
