Sudden onset of lisping

2016-04-20 13:29:55
I'm a 28 year old female and since sunday, April 17th, I have suddenly started lisping particularly on letters "s" and "c", and there's also a whistling sound. Talking also feels more efforted, the tongue movements more pronounced and the tongue also sometimes gets stuck between the teeth. What could be the problem?

Get a check done from a good dentist followed by neurophysician. There might be some problem with motor nervous conduction of the tongue. Don't panic. It should not be very serious

Hi.. It usually happens post wisdom tooth extraction. If you have not undergone extraction then visit a neurologist. Regards
