Sudden cold & hot symptoms for 5-10 mins

Wanted to get the advice for my Mom. She suddenly starts feeling cold and it comes to normal within 5-10 mins. Similarly, she sometimes starts feeling hot along with sweating even in normal temperatures and again it come back to normal within 5-10 mins. Wanted to ask, what might be the reason here ? How can this be cured? Thanks in Advance.
