Hello, Subretinal hemorrhage secondary to age-related macular degeneration (AMD) has a poor visual prognosis. Surgical drainage of the blood improves visual acuity only in selected patients.Goal of treatment is complete displacement of the subretinal hemorrhage from the macular region.
