Vison in left eye affected. There is a white sheet in front of the eye. Is surgery required immediately. If so which hospital is the best. Netharalaya Chennai or Bangalore

Decreased vision may be due too many causes like cataract or CNVM due to ARMD.....if cataract...u would require cataract surgery which is very simple and day care procedure....consult local eye specilist for comprehensive check up

Hello, Subretinal hemorrhage secondary to age-related macular degeneration (AMD) has a poor visual prognosis. Surgical drainage of the blood improves visual acuity only in selected patients.Goal of treatment is complete displacement of the subretinal hemorrhage from the macular region. You can go to any hospital in Bangalore only like Narayana nethralaya .
