The consistency of your stool may be likely due to a lack of fiber in your diet and the gastric irritation could be due to hyperacidity causing gastritis. You can use a fiber supplement satchet and antacids. The following steps may help:
- Do not strain during bowel movements
- Reduce weight as per your BMI (Maintain a healthy weight as per your BMI)
- Exercise regularly (30-45mins of exercise/day)
- Eat food rich in fiber and bran based cereals.
- Don't skip meals
- Reduce/ Avoid spicy,fried, fatty, junk and oily food
- Avoid/ Limit drinking coffee, tea and carbonated drinks to once a day
- Increase daily intake of water to 3 liters
- Avoid/Stop smoking and drinking
- Reduce stress through methods such as yoga/meditation.
- Avoid painkillers as it will increase your gastric problems at this moment.
