Hello,, what I need to know Is, what do you mean by weak pancreas and weak digestive system?? Have he undergone any tests for that? Was your doctor told you like that??. What medical condition he is having at present??. What type if pain it is? Where exactly the pain is in abdomen? Since pain is chronic, and he wakes up in night, could be due to Gastritis (most common), chronic pancreatitis (weak pancreas), or inflammatory bowel syndrome, or UTI (Urinary tract infection) or anemia, or electrolyte imbalance or many other less common conditions are there, he as to undergo some lab tests if not already. Consult a general surgeon. Or get back with details,.
