Stomach increased after jaundice attack

My father in law recently affected with jaundice and he took medication for jaundice and it is controlled but from last week he is suffering from digestive problems and his stomach got increased. We consulted doctor locally and he said due to liver problem water accumulated in his body and he suggested few tablets. But day to day his condition is becoming worse. What we have to do now?

Hello.... As per your description it looks like Ascites..... This cannot be resolved by online consultation...... Please consult some Good Physician  (MD Medicine) nearby..... Get his USG abdomen done... also other relevant tests as per the Physicians opinion.....
