I was given a RX of Prednisone (7 day course - 5mg) and Keflex (3xDay 500mg 10 day). And I think I'm having steroid withdrawal symptoms, I feel very achy and cold despite following the dosage directions carefully. I was given this RX after I visited the doctor's twice voicing concerns of throat pain, which one doctor said, "It's not strep so no meds for you", and the other immediately gave me steroids and antibiotics.
