STD test need over time??

My fiancee would like me to get an STD test, but I haven't slept with anyone in the last 2 years. Would this be a waste of time and money? Or is there a chance there is something I'm not aware of? She's a virgin, so she just doesn't want any surprise down the line that would make her doubt my faithfulness.
