Stapled hemorrhoid and anal tag surgery

I had stapled hemorrhoid surgery and anal tag surgery 8 days ago. I have painful bowel movements that get a little better after taking a sitz bath. I can only sit or walk for 15-20 minutes at a strech now. How long will it take me to feel normal and go to work? I work in a bank, where I have to sit for many hours.
