Started having boils a few months back - went to see doctor and taken Moxiclav and Augmenin, but boils kept coming back. Then I received Cephalexin but another (smaller) boil came back. Tested puz, results show it‘s Staphylococcus Aureus, resistant to Penicillin and Amplicillin, but sensitive to Cloxacillin, Cefazolin, Cotrimoxazole and Clindamycin. Is this a normal Staph infection or is it MRSA? My doctor prescribed Clindamycin but I currently have no boils. Shall I take it or wait first?
