My daughter is 1 year and 5 months old. She speaks only few words like papa, tata, apple, illa. She doesn't say amma and appa. Should we be concerned about her speech and consult a doctor

Respected ma’am Thank you for your query Your daughter should be speaking only a few words at this age ie up to 6 words You don’t have to worry at all if she’s active and had started walking before 13 months

1. Spend more time with her 2. If possible teach her small words 3. After the lockdown period —spend time with other small kids
