My father is suffering from high fever, cough, sore throat for 1 week now. He has taken course of azythromycin and cefixim with paracetamol. But has not seen much improvement. Fever comes and goes with medicine. Please help.

You seems to be suffering from viral upper respiratory tract infection which is a common type of throat and nose infection in this season. Since he has already taken appropriate medications and fever is still persistent routine blood investigations are advisable
