My baby has laryngomalacia. Recently we have observed that he cannot sleep properly. Whenever we lie him down to sleep he gets up gasping within 1 or 2 minutes. He sleeps when we keep him on our shoulder. He is gaining weight properly. Now he is 5 kg. How can we help him sleep? I have seen pediatricians. They say laryngomalacia will resolve with time. But my baby is not sleeping. Sometimes he coughs loudly . Does he have gerd?  Doctor has advised to take nexpro junior for 2 weeks. Is it okay to take this medicine? How can we resolve this.

Laryngomalacia is actually a congenital condition affecting the larynx, not an infection. It's commonly seen in infants and usually resolves on its own.
