My endoscopy impression: LAX LES. Narrowing noted at D1 D2 junction. Scope could not be passed beyond. BC taken. Doctor suggested bypass surgery.

Hi dear, as per your symptoms and the endoscopy findings this looks like a chronic duodenal ulcer which led to narrowing of the 1 st/2nd part of duodenum. Before surgery a CT SCAN OF ABDOMEN WITH ORAL AND I.V CONTRAST is must to define the lesion/ its extent and outside lumen picture. Tuberculosis should be ruled out. If after all diagnosis excluded then a Laparoscopic Truncal vagotomy and a Gastro-jejunostomy is the choice of surgery, where you will find it as a scarless surgery ,we work with  a 5 mm size of 3- 4 holes.
