Sometimes black mucus from throat

For 1yr, Sometimes black mucus coming out from throat accompanied with sticky thick mucus which comes more when I gargle with betadine. Don't know whether it's due to air pollution or something else. I also face headache sometimes after workout and it resolves when I sleep but lasts for a day. Please help me out...I'm in fear
