Hi Doctors, Firstly thanks for all those who have replied my queries.. U are really a great help... Now my question is, I ve started Snehapanam under doctor administration, But my doubt is can I fast during snehapanam...?? M doing this to loose weight.... Thank you.

You said, you are having Vitamin D deficiency. Have some exposure to early morning, or evening sun for at least half an hour. Vitamin D is also essential for proper metabolism. While having snehapana take food only when you feel hungry. Neither starve too much nor eat too much. Have easily digestible food when you feel hungry only.

Fasting is not allowed during snehapan phase. Snehapan itself will take care of you. believe ayurveda completely and follow rules.

No don't fast instead eat some fruits or fibre diet or u can have idli or roti dal.  Fasting can lead to loss of appetite which in turn will affect the digestion  and absorption of  next higher dose of snehapan.
