The inner part of our lips have many small minor salivary glands which when get injured can form a cyst filled with saliva. Though it is not that alarming still it needs proper attention and care. The picture given you is suggestive of a smaller mucocele but since you are also complaining of pain, it can also be suggestive of infection of the mucocele. Therefore it will be better to consult an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon (as they specialise in this field) near you as soon as possible. Hi... It is very normal to have tiny bumps in your labial mucosa they are small sebaceous (oil producing) glands. With age they tend to get bigger but since you’re just 25 so that is not the case. I can’t appreciate the picture well but the pain could be because of an ulcer or trauma from your brush etc. If you don’t have severe pain you can wait for 4-5 days and if doesn’t seem to get ok you can visit a dentist in person.
