Small ventricular septal defect

Hi, My son (1.6 year old,weight 14.2 kg) is detected with doubly committed small VSD, left to right shunt ,No RCC prolapse,No Aortic insufficiency ,VSD gradeint of 90 mm/hg. Is surgery is required? Please guide us .

He has sufficient weight gain. Echo does not show any features suggestive of complications as expected in these kind of Vsd location. These kind of vsds rarely close. Aortic valve tries to seal off this Vsd in future, which is not good, as it happens at the expense of valve damage.
Next Steps
Hence needs to b on close follow up at least every year to decide on further closure.
