Small lump inside jaw

I have a small movable lump inside my lower jaw, it doesn't pain but i noticed it recently when i had cough and cold. I have tonsillitis problem from childhood. I can move the lump and its on left side below the teeth which can be touched from below. What it can be , Is it serious

It could be enlarged lymph node due to infection. Need physical examination to confirm.

I think with what you described its a probable lymph node Any infection of oral cavity can cause this If not pain and no increase in size then okay

Its better to share picture if you are comfortable with. Seems to be a mucocele or cyst (if inside mouth) or lymph node( if outside)
