Slight difficulty to read tiny letters

I checked my eye power in titan ,it says together it is 3.25, age is 61yrs.but iam able to read well except new testament size letters. Technician tells me to go for progressive lens.what's ur advice?I day carrots, greens etc !!! Is it a poor power?

How much is the corrected vision with this number. If it is 6/6then you may go for progressive but if you are not able to attain 6/9even then it might be  developing cataract. Which will have to be operated in a short period.
