The biopsy has been taken to have a Pathological Diagnosis. The specimen will be subjected to microscopic examination, which will guide the further treatment based on the report. For all likely hood it looks more like inflammatory ulcers than the more dangerous ulcers due to tumors.
Next Steps
Will have to wait for the pathology report to start any definitive treatment, presently you would have been put on medications to control the symptoms only.

There is nothing worry some about the colonoscopy report. Whatever the condition, it can be treated.
