Side effect of lexapro?

I started taking 20mg of lexapro about a month ago and have been experiencing diarrhea in the mornings (once a day) for the last few weeks since starting it. I always take it at night since it makes me a little sleepy and the diarrhea usually comes in the morning. Is this a normal side effect of the drug? When should I expect it to clear up? I am 28 years old, and recently had a baby girl, I started experiencing post partum anxiety (reason for starting the lexapro). Thanks!

Well..Yes diarrhoea is a side effect of the tablet ..You can discuss this with the treating doctor..Well I don think it would clear up as it would be there till you are taking tablet..But if it's just once a day then I don't think it should bother you..Thank you
