Hello dr I need an advice my 2yr old daughter is having seziers she is under treatment with Valprin 2.5ml twice a day, carnisure 3 ml twice a day and clonotril tab 1/4th a day now doc is suggesting to give SABRIL 500mg my question is what is the side effect for this and is it safe to give

Hi, If your child is getting repeated seizures then that can damage your childs brain. Also your childs brain may not develop properly. So most importantly the GOAL is freedom from seizures. Now, to get freed from seizures - medicines are required. But giving too many medications will not help much. Goal should be to give medications in appropriate dosage ( tolerable dosage).
