Severe Muscular pain

I experience severe muscular pain on my left side of the body. Right from neck to the foot. The pain is extreme on the left side of the hip. This is usually prior to getting my menstrual cycle and also during this time I experience increased gases. This is happening for good 7-8 months now. Please advise.
