If someone has symptoms of epilepsy viz.  2 (multiple) occasions of seizures (while sleeping) lasting 2-3 minutes followed by difficulty breathing and speaking & limited consciousness for 10-15 minutes, can the problem be diagnosed after the episode? Is it possible to be able to wait for a week before seeing a doctor?

Epilepsy is a central nervous system disorder (neurological disorder) in which nerve cell activity in the brain becomes disrupted, causing seizures or periods of unusual behavior, sensations and sometimes loss of consciousness. Seizure symptoms can vary widely. Some people with epilepsy simply stare blankly for a few seconds during a seizure, while others repeatedly twitch their arms or legs. Consult Neurologist for detailed evaluation..
