Rubella vaccine&conceptio

I took rubella vaccine on 11 April 2016. Later, I found out that I coceived at the same time. Doctor is advising termination. Please help!

Hello....i understand your concern....theoretical concerns from vaccinating pregnant women with live rubella vaccine virus because of the known risk of congenital rubella syndrome after natural rubella infection (german measles) in early pregnancy....there are no safety concerns, either for the mother or the baby, when rubella-containing vaccine is given in pregnancy or shortly prior to pregnancy. Women who have been immunised with MMR or single rubella vaccine in pregnancy can be immediately reassured. Such an incident would not be a reason to recommend termination of pregnancy...so I would suggest you to take second opinion from neatest gynaecologist.
