Right Vocal cord not working
My mother is diagnosed with right vocal cord immobility issue. She is also diagnosed with ulcer in food pipe last week. She is not able to speak (hoarseness) and is facing issue while swallowing food. Is ulcer can impact vocal cord? We have started treatment of ulcer in food pipe which helped in swallowing food with liquid.
Ulcer at GE junction cannot lead to vocal cord immobility.
Vocal cord immobility on the Right side, need to evaluate Lung for any mass or tumor.
Also need to know about any history of recent upper respiratory tract infection.
If it's an acute symptoms the immediate consultation from ENT is required.
